Luis Alberto Hurtado

Luis Alberto Hurtado Cruchaga was born on January 22, 1901 in Viña del mar, and died on August 18, 1952 in Santiago.
His parents were Alberto Hurtado Larrain and Anna Cruchaga Tocornal.
Study at the colegio San Ignacio Alonso Ovalle, thanks to a scholarship them studied law at the powtifical catholic university of Chile, but his religious vocation led him to goin the society of Jesus, August 14, 1923 Pdre Hurtado is impotant in all chileans as the founder of the household of Christ.
Foundation that helps poor and elderly of our country is also our first saint because he was beatified by Pope Jonh Paul ll.
